None on ebay, none on NFED.... Why is it so hard to find a second hand 17.5 Cair model....

There seem to be a few old style pro's around - is there much difference?

I had two and made the mistake of selling one to a friend of mine. Am now looking to buy another for one of the youngsters.

yes there is a lot of difference. I tried my friends Isabell and bought a Pro as she said they were the same. But they are not :p. The Isabell is much better for rider, I could easily do sitting trot in it on my WB but can't in the pro, also you can rise lower and better too

hate pros love the isabells! I am though currently considering selling mine which is 17.5" but not cair as the shape of the tree no longer suits Fleur now she has matured. Planning to get 2nd opinion from saddler before I make final decision though as will kick myself if sell it and then find myself buying another LOL

There is one for sale on the NFED - ad no 38626 went on yesterday:

Description

17 1/2" black Wintec 'Isabell Werth' dressage saddle; Cair panel system; medium gullet fitted; v. good condition;
Also 54" black Wintec stirrup leathers

£300.00 o.v.n.o.

Stick with trying to find the Isabell i've had mine years and love it - I only have the flock version but it is very lightweight. If this one ever wears out I will definately replace with the cair version - they are so comfy and really help to place you in a correct position.
