Up until now I've allowed my horse to have the natural look, but this summer I pulled his mane because it was uneven, now he looks odd, like he's half finished I guess and it's because of his feathers.

What's the best way to remove the feathers? Clipping? Cutting?
I'm new to this and would appreciate some advice as I dont want to mess it up :)

Other people may have better ideas , but I tend to cut (or hack) & then take the remainder off with a smaller pair clippers - I wouldn't like to use the big pair on his legs x

I do Bob the nota cobs feathers with one of those stile comb thingeys, works well and avoids using clippers near the hooves of death. Bob can actualy pick his front hoof up to knee height and stamp ,faster than you can see:eek: I kid you not!The idea of going there with clippers is just not on.
