The Gaucho Derby

Is starting today in Patagonia. There are a couple of UK Level 4 TREC riders (Dot Still and Hilary Barnard) competing this year. They are dots DST and HBA on the radio tracking via the link below. The photographs on the Gaucho Derby FB page are stunning. The horses are criollos, and much larger than the Mongolian horses used in the Mongolian Derby. Wow - the scenery. So beautiful. Wouldn't be up for the race but if I was 50 years younger I'd definitely be up for trail riding there.

I hope the 2 brits do well.

They are amazing, off to a very strong start. I know them through TREC and in case any one is wanting to support they are raising money for Riders Minds

A friend of mine is riding! She did the Mongol Derby a few years ago. Love watching the live tracking!
