Such a lovely morning as it’s the first time in over 2 months that we have got our big old girl back in the car. Just before lockdown started, she refused to get in the car after previously having no issues. She wouldn’t entertain a ramp and she’s not the sort of dog you manhandle. Anyway, she had some painkillers on vet advice, some rest and then off lead walks locally. It coincided with lockdown so we didn’t take any of the dogs out in the car as it was.
This morning I thought I’d give it a go as she’s been happily running off lead with no issues for over a month now. Straight in the car with no problems and we enjoyed a walk at her favourite place.
Our smaller dogs had a good chase and JD happily trotted about sniffing and enjoying the sunshine.
She’s just turned 11.
