Well we had a FANTASTIC day. The AMAZING trendybraincell came with us as groom/photographer/dog sitter, and she was SUPER. All these photos are taken by her.

Titch went over in the morning for the Coloured Youngstock, which was a BSPA Qualifier. She came 2nd and Qualified for the Festival of Colour, but unfortunately I'm not a member (although she's registered with them) so we won't be going. She's looking very grown up all of a sudden!

We then took Titch home, cleaned out the lorry, and picked up Genie, who went over for the ridden classes in the afternoon. Despite a bucking fit in her first individual (witch!), she came 1st in the Ridden Cob, 1st in the Ridden M&M, and took Reserve Champion!! Absolutely thrilled with her! :D She has now won four Ridden Mountain and Moorland classes on the trot, which I can't quite believe.

I never get tired of the praise! Thanks for the name drop, maybe I can attract a following of willing photography subjects to practise on :p

You and the girls did a great job yesterday, its great to see them improving each time they go out, and getting the results they deserve :) and trimming titch was the way to go!!
 
I think Bradley should have got a rosette just for being him!

Can't get over how grown up Titch looks, she looks like she floats when she moves. And Genie looking great, like her showing the white of her eye when she's got her back legs in the air!
 
MD - I know! I pull her mane and suddenly she's all grown up! The judge really liked her and that it was nice to see a slightly heavier youngster that was totally straight moving. :D Genie was just a naughty girlie! Still, she got the good results!

tbc - I want priority bookings!!! ;) :p Thank you so much for all of your help... Trimmed Titch is certainly growing on me!

ptp - A grooming every morning and never going to the yard!!! The fact that he's a total wuss and doesn't even like wet grass certainly helps as well!

teresa - Unfortunately we don't know Genie's breeding. :( She went through the sales as a 2 year old and the paperwork was lost.
 
Well done. Brings back memories, used to do the Avon Valley shows with my old boy and they always had lovely rosettes and winner's trophies.
