Ok, I might be wrong here but was there a year quite a while ago in the Grand National where something went wrong and there were only 4 starters? What year was this?

Is there way I can find out who the other runners which completed were?

It was the 2001 race where only 4 finished.Red Maruader,Smarty,Blowing Wind and Papillon in that order. Found it on attheraces website by looking up Red Marauder. OH was on him and I had smarty so I remember that one!

The Esha Ness race was abandoned but some riders didn't realise and carried on so result was void.

I think it was 1993 - I remember as it was the exact same day as I was born!
