Sorry, i know this emotion bursts out quite regularly with me, but more so once a year when we get to annual vaccination time....

The Greyhound Gang went to the vets for their annual vaccinations tonight, they are now aged 13 years and 7 months, 10 years and 4 months, 10 years and 2 months and around 8 years old but they all got a clean bill of health as being absolutely fit and healthy with no problems :)

I am SO lucky to have them, and I am SO lucky that they are all fit and healthy - no point to this post really other than to say I love them more than words can say, they are everything to me, and give your dogs an extra hug tonight because (as the saying goes) they are worth it :) :)

We are loving our new rescue collie X sky. Had her 1 month tomorrow.
But I did burst into tears sorting paper work out yesterday, as found paper work for our boy Harvey who we had to PTS aged 5 from cancer in january. I'm glad I hugged him every day and he had a great short 3 years with us. No point in keeping his vaccination records and chip details now.

I want a herd of dogs now, can never be without one.

Everyone is surprised that I have four dogs, but they all have very very distinct personalities and I love them equally for their very different ways :) I know each day is a bonus with my lot, I feel for you so much losing one so young - I am sure Sky will be bringing you lots of happiness and fun, she will never be Harvey but she will be as good in very different ways :)

Thanks Cahill - yours are just as gorgeous, I love seeing their updates on FB :) There was a greyhound in the vets at the same time as me tonight that was (whispers) distinctly fat :o I love dogs who look so healthy and fit like yours do - and hopefully like mine do :) xxxx
 
There are never too many greyhounds, we only have one now and wanted another but Ezra showed no interest what so ever so it is just the one, I admit to being more than a tad jealous of you having four.
 
Lovely dogs. I love a sighthound, before we got our whippets I'd never thought much of them but they're such amazing dogs!

Definitely agree with your emotional bit :p dogs always have a special place, there's just something about them :)
 
Lovely gang! My heart is always in my mouth when Boots goes to the vet for a checkup - still no one believes his age for some reason (probs because he acts like a daft young twit), he's owned me for almost 5 years and I could never be without a grey now, just brilliant hilarious loving people :D

Love love love the ears and the tongue slipping out, lots of lovely greyhound pics on Sighthounds on Sofas on FB, don't know if you've seen it.
 
Well I have just had to join the 'Sighthounds on Sofas' group just to show off the gang some more :D I agree with Pippxox (who unfortunately I consistently read as 'Pippisocks' :o ) that FB really does have a page for everything.... :)
