Have I got an amazing and incredibly valuable horse because of the unique way (unknown to veterinary science I'll bet) she's wired??? She always drinks with her ears forward. She takes a long slurp and as she swallows her ears bounce forward about 3 inches. Bless her, it's priceless to watch and guaranteed to put a smile on anyone's face...slurp, swallow, ears boing forwards, slurp, swallow, ears boing forwards, slurp, swallow, ears boing forwards. I stand there laughing myself silly and she just gives me a look that would curdle milk and carries on ... slurp, swallow, ears boing forwards. PMSL x

Was sat having brekkie the other day watching the broodmares n the farmer asked me how you can tell if they were drinking from a distance, he then said watch their ears, and just like yours their ears move backwards and forwards as they slurp n swallow, so off I wander round the farm watching all the horses drink and everyone of them do the same, learn somthing new everyday lol
