The Horse Whisperer. film

Just got the d.v.d the horse whisperer only £4 from Amazon web site. I had forgotten how good the film is...
anyone else watched it???

I watched it pretty recently as I have it on DVD and it has me in floods of tears each time!!! But I do love it!! I would have to say though that as in most cases of adaptations the book is even better than the film lol. May actually watch it before bed this evening now you've mentioned it . . . . lol

The book is much better. I read the book first & they cut loads from the film that was in the book & actually made the story much better.

I have only seen bits of the film but I have just finished reading the book. I was in floods by the end where the fella dies

I liked the book better. ALTHOUGH I remember having a cracking time with former BF when we added our own dialogue laden with innuendo

The film is good, but a bit long, but the book is better.
Needed lots of tissues, but then I can weep at anything - particularly the weather forecast at the moment!

see i read the book and loved it but watched the film and could only watch it till half way through cos got completly bored
