You are a Star cant wait to meet you and Madhector (although I only do the baby classes 2ft) I saw on the website the intermidate show now starts at 2ft 3

What are the shows like there?

I was planning to take a trip up there as my next "confidence building" outing before it go back to bsja.

Think it was on the 27th?
 
hi sammiea, the shows are low key and friendly, well organised cos yours truly does the collecting ring!! the arena is very nice and a decent size. the current alterations are that which the arena is being extended so that the warm up area will be next to it and the same surface. currently they are using a field to warm up in and with the recent weather the ground is really suffering. the next open sj is on the 27th and starts at 2ft 6.
ship, the intermediate shows start at 2ft. there is one on the 26th. the unaffiliated sj starts at 2ft 3. what height are you looking to start him over ?
 
ottinmeg.... u might secretly well attually know me then .... im the girl with the lil coloured at the bigger grey thing .... that live in the house a field to the left of the jays.

Went alot last summer.... hopefully be over again easter time (at uni) nice to know andrea is doing more.

and agree its a lovely low key place to go to

oh thats brilliant, low key is just what i need at the moment to help be keep calm and relax to help me got over this confidence issue

sammiea,read your posts regards to your confidence issues, it is the perfect place for you! i am off there tomorrow so will see how things are coming along but andrea emailed me last night and said it will be finished in time for next week. the other thing i like about the jays is that they do build up to height as well unlike a lot of 'local shows'. if you do come along make yourself known to me!
eventergirl,im sure our paths must have crossed at some point then! look forward to seeing you there in the future to. andrea has loads planned for this year, i think there is something on almost every week and she caters for just about everybody. i think that place is going to be very popular this year. the evening jumping is starting up again in april i think to,might be earlier though. i can remember when she did her first evening jumping last summer and my pony was the only one there,andrea ran a competition and poor meg went round the course 3 times with 3 different riders and went clear 3 times so then had to do the jump off against herself 3 times! luckily the course was only 9 inches high!
