The wolf and I are on day 2.

Refused to eat his kidney chunk yesterday - so that's all he was offered this morning.

Cue him lodging a complaint to hubby.

Kidney now in bin. Another piece to be offered tomorrow.

Who will give in first???

My big dog totally refuses kidney and liver. Would you flash fry it?

Big dog in fact has refused all raw for the past two days: I caved and gave him a tray yesterday. :o

Just come home for lunch and offered him a different piece of kidney. He spat it out, so I put it back in fridge, waited a few minutes. Then tried again and he ate it, so he has had the rest of his dinner now. After wading through 20kg green tripe this weekend, he's not allowed to start being picky!

The thing is, because I am a bit new to Raw feeding and this is the first time I've bought a month's worth from a specialist company - I spent a whole afternoon measuring out tripe, heart, kidney, bones, pancreas, liver and meat chunks in the holy
80%, 10%, 5% & 5%
ratios in little baggies for them in their respective portion sizes ready for the whole month.

And after all that, he turns his nose up~? I DON'T THINK SO!

Of course, the day after I mixed the horse's minerals in little baggies, made Tom Yum soup and a chilli and set bread off in the bread maker.

And everyone has to eat what they're given!

Next month, or when I'm a little more relaxed about the whole thing, I'll just throw random amounts of whatever and hope for the best:o
