I just leave mine how they are, it doesn't annoy me! I have to say mine are not as long as in that picture.

Ive rolled each end up seperatly like a lead rope, so it looks like 2 tassles on each boot, if this makes sense.

I have dublin rivers but I did them like a leadrope but one tassle - wrapped it round lots looks good and different

Mine just hang down and to be honest they've never done my head in,forget their even there and i've had mine nearly 6yrs!
