The Life Cycle of a HHO thread.....

Someone will post, ostensibly asking for constructive criticism. The OP will get cross with anyone who does not praise them fulsomely or who actually offers advice/critique. They will then attempt to explain/justify why other person (lets call them the CCer) is incorrect. When on the end of a losing argument (ie, more than one person agrees with the CCer) Then the OP will direct equal/greater scorn on the horse/riding/management of the CCer in the belief that this makes them right and somehow 'better'.
It's all about the ego ;)

Or anyone that questions that the OP may be over horsed suddenly is accused of being a jelouse you know what and then the OP will try and bring how much money they have into the argument.... and the person in question is obvioulsy poor so therefore even more jelouse.

And then the OP will suddenly amend the story or add additional information into it if the post is not going there way

Its great !

have you had the "GOODBYE I'M CLOSING MY ACCOUNT" flounce off by the OP yet ? followed by the replies "you just want attention" and how you have to contact TFC to close the account.....but they never do.

(Totally tongue in cheek :D)

OP will post with a query about their horse.
4 posters will reply asking if its been scoped for ulcers.
1 will reply implying the OP is useless & shouldn't have a horse.
12 posters will recommend Micronised Linseed.
8 posters will now suggest taking its shoes off with stories of how doing this saved their horses life.
16 replies also follow telling OP to turn horse out 24/7 & that it doesn't need rugging
OP will reply that horse can't be turned out & it needs a heavy weight rug.
34 members will now post suggesting the horse is PTS
An argument will break out as OP takes offence at post suggesting they are crap & shouldn't have a horse.
This will continue for about 12 pages
It starts to calm, thread drops to 2nd page.......
A poster bounces it back to the top with
'I haven't read all the posts but have you had it scoped for ulcers?'

Hilarious, and so true. :D

A couple of questions if I may.

Who is the illustrious YM/YO by the way? It would appear that they are the oracle.

What happened to "live an let live"?

And finally, are you quite sure it isn't bilaterally lame with KS and ulcer referred pain?

Arh.... we have also missed out the 50 lessons a month.. with 20 different trainers "all at the top of their game".... but then post a link and they cant get the right diagonal

Perhaps we should do a count up of the ones we are guilty of having done before, just one point for each no matter how many times you have been guilty of it! Glad to say my score is fairly low :)

"8 posters will now suggest taking its shoes off with stories of how doing this saved their horses life." Guilty of this, but not about shoes!

"'I haven't read all the posts but have you had it scoped for ulcers?'" I've done this once or twice...oops

Plus we need ops mitigating circumstances, usually mentioned after 100 negative replies. Eg they have an illness, mental or physical, going through divorce, redundancy & pregnancy simultaneously, their mum wasn't nice when they were little, 35 yrs ago. And of course, that the horse was rescued from the meatman, & was half dead at time of purchase, 5yrs ago. Hence its lack of manners.
Not to forget at least one person to mention this is why they don't offer diy, 4 people to agree, 5 diyers to take it as an insult, 2 more to state they don't see the point in having a horse on full livery, & 5 to say they work hours that make diy impossible & the horse doesn't care who mucks it out.
