The Life Cycle of a HHO thread.....

You have all forgotten the 'COB' word ......... The OP will either hate them and will try and figure out why people want to have one, or the OP will love them and will be defending cobs and getting all upset. They may also be wondering if you can do join up with them, or is Parelli etc just for warmbloods?

What about off the track TB's ? and ex racers in general..we need a few of them thrown in - some will be the best behavied horses EVER and others will be only for very very very experianced handlers !

Hilarious! Thank you, glamourpuss. Gingerwitch finished me actually off with her remark about pedantic's possible contribution. :D ;)

ETA: ok, had to go 1677 as page 77 was like, last week. Found a good one though.

*makes mental note to dig this thread out in 2 months time to comment about Billie not checking properly before posting abut the back sack and crack. (still chuckling at the btw!)

Can't believe no-one has mentioned 'I've received 164 PMs in the last 3 hours, all agreeing with me and saying that you were previously horrible to them too'.

Someone will tell the OP that a similar thread has already existed and therefore their question is not valid, then 15 more 'sorry barefoot question again' posts will emerge and a consequent discussion about trimmers and farriers and many many pictures of hooves :-)

NAME CALLING.... we forgot name calling - when you cant win you call people names......bitch, witch, cow, learner, amature, diy'er, unproffessional

oh and we need to get in that my dad rode in 22 Olympics in the Show Jumping, Eventing, and Dressage teams - with the same horse (snigga snigga)

O god. I'm a serial offender. I'm sorry everyone :o

Brilliant post and very current.

O, and don't forget it needs x-rays for kissing spine even though most horses have it and none of the obvious problems ( saddle clearly doesn't fit/horse is in all day and fed rocket fuel etc) have been addressed! :D

(Totally tongue in cheek :D)

OP will post with a query about their horse.
4 posters will reply asking if its been scoped for ulcers.
1 will reply implying the OP is useless & shouldn't have a horse.
12 posters will recommend Micronised Linseed.
8 posters will now suggest taking its shoes off with stories of how doing this saved their horses life.
16 replies also follow telling OP to turn horse out 24/7 & that it doesn't need rugging
OP will reply that horse can't be turned out & it needs a heavy weight rug.
34 members will now post suggesting the horse is PTS
An argument will break out as OP takes offence at post suggesting they are crap & shouldn't have a horse.
This will continue for about 12 pages
It starts to calm, thread drops to 2nd page.......
A poster bounces it back to the top with
'I haven't read all the posts but have you had it scoped for ulcers?'

This must be a troll :D:D:D

Oh and to throw in a few from some other sections of the forum....

'Dump him'

'But WHY are you breeding your fugly dog?'

'Have you tried raw?'

'That's great, but I once flew a space shuttle upside down while serving tea to a princess...'

Cant believe you have got to 9 pages and not mentioned calling the VET :D

Any of these

horse is throwing itself around groaning what should I do.

I think my horse is dying but I dont have insurance and cant afford the vet

Horse is hopping on two legs, think I will get the vet on Monday

Or

You are a negligent owner as you only called one vet, call another and refer to equine hospital immediately

Why are you asking questions on a forum when you should be calling a vet

:D :D

It doesn't matter what the vet, saddle fitter, chiro or anyone else who have seen the horse in the flesh, particularly the owner, think. Only folk on the forum can detect lameness by means of telepathy and a grainy 400yards away youtube video, believe me.

And nine pages before someone highlights the excessive cover-your-ass use of IMO, or IMHO because this is widely accepted as a way to veil a slap down version of "I'm not saying you're wrong, but I think the opposite and I'm right"
