I don't watch football but saw the semi by accident and watched the final by design. Great match and just so pleased that they won. They just played as a team with energy and commitment and I spent 120 minutes worrying that they wouldn't win!

Fantastic game. The Lionesses showed grit, determination and are inspirational for young female players. Germany played brilliantly too. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was on the edge of my seat throughout. Women's football is so much more fast paced than the men's.

A fantastic match and result. So pleased for them.

Not a football fan (sorry), but what a fantastic result! So inspiring for womens sport, and it makes me appreciate even more being in horse sports where my gender has never been as issue.
