No, really, I think I must have dreamed it.
I went to look at the yard someone had recommended. It's 5 miles from my house. I was shown round by YO, the loveliest person you can imagine, who gave me over an hour of her time and listened to all my Mollie issues.
Lovely stables, daily turnout, miles of off road riding in lovely countryside, a superb flood lit riding arena with a super-safe high quality level surface, fantastic storage, even a warm brew room!
DIY livery but lots of support and flexible arrangements (eg feed/ turnout/bring in/holiday cover for extra charge if needed). There are several local instructors who visit regularly including one the owner thinks would be ideal for me and Mollie.
Cost per week for DIY with unlimited haylage & use of all above: £28.50 per week.
Not surprisingly the place is full.
However, there are 2 waiting lists, one for the very big stables and one for the smaller ones which would be fine for Mollie. I'm top of the list for the smaller stables.
Oh, and there's beach within riding distance for a morning/afternoon out.....
No, I obviously dreamed it.
