Hi all

Anybody ridden at The London Equestrian Centre?

Am currently scouting around looking for places to ride in London and am considering giving this one (and possibly Trent Park) a go...

I'm actually based in South London so these are both about an hour away from me but I'm willing to travel for the better prices - South London riding centres are SO expensive!

Any thoughts (and other suggestions...) would be great!

Thanks

My daughter used to ride there when we lived in london. It was ok. I don't know what the bigger horses are like because we were only on little ponies
at the time {2 years ago}. Not much hacking as I recall

I used to livery at LEC and had loads of lessons there. It is a great yard but unfortunately my pony just never settled in there it was just not the right place for him.

Teaching is really good level - I used to ride on Thursday evening group - and made loads of friends as well - we even went on a riding holiday together last year.

It is very busy at the weekends but the evening lessons are great value for money as the classes are small. They hold jumping clinics bring in outside instructors and you can hire horses to take to their shows. They don't have a large amount of big horses but the ones they have are nice. No hacking though.

I used to ride at trent park about 7 years ago but left as I got too scared as they always put me on fiesty horses so ended up getting a share and then buying my own pony.
