Yeay!!!! Here's mine:
Cassie, it's actually shorter than it used to be as I've thinned it out a bit for her

Merel, it is longer than it looks and it's NEVER going to get any shorter

Molly, I know it doesn't look very long for a Native but I've been growing it for 5 years now so is very long to me, it was very short when I got her but it doesn't grow very quickly - had a jump about in the field today when I saw her tail now touches the floor!(It used to be up at her Hocks)

dwi - Inca was hogged 2 years ago - thats how fast it grows

!! She didn't suit hogged - was too butch for her

! and its like fuse wire so your hands would bleed if you pulled it!! It never gets me in the face as I keep it in plaits!!

I am hoping to do some shows with her next year!!

btw...I am the lover of a glorious long mane too. As long as the horse can wear it well...and al of the ones here do

I keep My shetland and my PercheronX long but my POA mare is kept shorter as it suits her better and her mane is a bit scraggly

I love long natural manes, oddly I also love the hogged look, I don't like short manes though

Woooooooo, some pretty spectacular manes here.
I simply don't DO short manes anymore (after years of plaiting for lead rein etc), if I have to plait it takes me two minutes to do a pretty respectable arab plait (or whatever you want to call it) job done!

Charley (yearling) just does punk with his mop, it is about the only part of him that didn't have a problem when I bought him (before the wrinkes and scabs get commented on)

This arab x I bred had a pretty long mane at a year old.
