Now does! Horray!
For those of you who read my other post, thank you for all the advice and it thankfully turns out that she was just trying it on.
So back to riding her normally but she does get moments when she decides to stop but I think she's starting to learn that she can't get away with it anymore.
Today I also took her on the road for the first time! It was only about 20m (if that!) and then down a long track. She was a bit on her toes but settled. She didn't bother about the cars or aything. Seeing as this was her first time being ridden out of the school I am so pleased with her.

eta photos from the other day. Tried to get more but photobucket is being hopeless!!

I resorted to using a stick after almost any other way I could think of!
I only used it a little and put it down as soon as she was moving forward..I didn't want to end up being reliant on it!
Thank you!

thought that might work......

Remember, the stick doesn't have to be a thing of punishment, it is a legitimate aid if it is used properly, as you did. At the end of the day, it only needs to be used softly to back up the leg and better that, than get to the point that your horse ignores all of your other aids!!

She looks great by the way - how is she bred?

Thank you. To be honest, she wasn't bred in any particular way. Her sire was a charity coloured stallion, 15.2 and her dam was a bay TBX. Seeing as she wasn't bred..ummm.. that skillfully she has turned out pretty well. Her mother is proving to be a good jumper so hopefully suzie will inherit that!
