for selling horses is officially dead I've decided.
One perfectly fabulous pony club pony who's up for peanuts really [reasons completely honest as to why] and another cracking big horse who's a serious potential competition horse who's priced accordingly too.

Pony has had not even an email enquiry! [Minus one with a wrong address] and the other hasn't had the right person yet [even though with a hunts person who tried him was faultless!] or just tyre kickers for him. Or the equally useless 'looking for a loan....' replies....

Arrrrrrgh. I hate selling. Anyone else in the same boat?

See everyone keeps saying this, yet I know several horses that have changed hands recently... Where they are being advertised and how seems to be the deciding factor...!!

Down in our area its pants, everyone is finding the same from talk at shows and stuff. People in PC etc would be interested, but need to shift theirs to get a new one, and not being able to sell themselves.....spiral!

I'm contemplating putting a for sale sign on them both out hunting or shows!!

hmm, i share your pain, i've had a lovely chunk of a pony advertised for weeks & weeks now and had lots of 'would you consider a loan' and a few 'we dont really want to travel that far' type replies but until now only one serious viewing - fingers crossed though have a promising sounding buyer coming sunday, so there is hope :) have had most enquiries through horsemart...if he sells i then have to go trawling all the ads to find his replacement, i might just bypass all that and post on here to see if any of you lovely lot have my perfect partner!

Yes same problem, have a great 10 y.o. PC pony up for sale for less than we paid 18 months ago but not one serious enquiry unless you count a picture collector and a would you loan-er :/
