Woo!! Filly for Claire and a colt for Becki!
Okay well I took my little screw and my string into the stables tonight. I left all the horses rugs on as couldn't be bothered taking them off and I closed all the doors on the barn to the outside so no wind could come in....so you want to know the results? Here they come:
Tried Cloud first - she is pregnant and due in a month - placed screw over her pelvis again.......screw went berserk anticlockwise with a diameter of circle probably about 4 to 5 inches. Same as happened this morning.
Then I went into a barren mares stable - placed screw over her - nothing.....absolutely nothing. The screw just remained perfectly stationery. I kept it there for the same length of time as I kept it above Cloud and used the same hand to hold the string.
Then I did the gelding - once again, absolutely nothing. It did not move AT ALL.
So I wandered back up the barn to where Cloud was - thinking that this was perhaps a bit of a fluke, I decided to go back into her again and try it again.........exactly the same thing happened as happened earlier - the nail went absolutely flying around and around.
Well time will tell - but I found it a bit of fun and quite interesting.
