The NED?

Just a quick question.. may be a little bit silly but was just wondering if the NED is free to use and is it easy?

I just wanted to look up a few of my old horses really and see where they are today.

Your limited to what you can do on NED.I had to pay to associate myself with my horse.
you can look up horses names tho.

Ive looked up old ponies on there. I only payed,so I could associate myself with my horse.
