I did promise one or two people that I'd post pics -apologies they're not better but you get the idea! 3 year old, currently standing 14.2 and a half and bum high so hoping she might scrape 15hh. She has good bloodlines and has done reasonably well as a gangly yearling and 2yo. Plenty of filling out still to do yet though and is physically quite immature. I'm not even going to back her until next autumn but she can do some long reining, etc, in the meantime. She has the sweetest nature - very steady for her age and loves people. She's been left to grow up on the Cumbrian fells with just basic handling so a lovely blank canvas. Everyone who has met her has been very taken, even my hard to impress vet. The Fell is most definitely the boss though!

She has big shoes to fill, taking the place of my big man, but I'm already quite smitten. Unfortunately she's just suffered a random colic episode which is a bit worrying as I really was hoping to avoid another vet magnet. She spent a night in hospital for obs, but recovered very quickly and it was touching to see how well she recognised me when we went to collect her the following morning.

Hopefully we will do a bit of showing and then see where her talents lie under saddle. She seems to jump for fun which is exciting. And with her breeding, and endangered status, I might even look at finding her a husband one day. OH is already suggesting it! Fingers crossed this one has many years to come.

Yes she looks really sweet with a pretty face. The colic episode must have been v scary but hopefully all will go well from now on. Best of luck with her.
