I've joined midgetville and feel like a pony squisher and I don't know if I like it or hate it. :D

I've gone from a great big umpa lumpa DWB to a 15.1 TB and it feels weird ....very werid.

I feel like I've been kicked out of Pony Club for being too old yet still clinging onto my youth by riding around on a little spindly TB, all that is missing is a noisey pair of multi coloured Westropp over reach boots complete with matching brushing boots ;)

She has no neck, does a fantastic camel impression and her ears are practically at my nose end.

She's spooky, on her toes, got terrible little choppy strides and gives you a stitch just keeping up with her walk ...and thats when your in the saddle!

Nothing in my tack room bloody fits her, because her legs are too fine, her head is too small etc

but boy, she's aint half a little bundle of fun! :)

You can't be a littly for fun! I went from a 16.3hh IDxTB to a 14.2hh ConniexArab - and yes he felt tiny but my goodness was he a huge bundle of fun!

Enjoy reliving your pony club days we remember them with fondness for a reason!!!

Lol :-D

Im afraid i have never left midgetville....im nearly 24 and my horse is 14.2!!

Have to admit though....iv always loved my spooky, sharp ponies that turn on a sixpence..(when they are meant to not like my current pony....nappy little so and so!!)

Give it a week or 2 and you will stop getting the stitches and the pony club may let you back ;-) and you will be loving every second and wont look back :-D :-D :-D

Sorry im still laughing about the matching multi coloured boots :-D

mY 17HH IDXTB is semi retired and I bought an unbroken 3yo Haffie, shes now rising 7 and just the most fun you can have on something quite so orange :-)). Doing first endurance ride at beginning of next month woo hoo! Ponies rule!

Sounds fun! Didn't know you were getting another, what's the story?

And i second the demand for pictures, c'mon!

Yes I promise to get some piccy's when I get a chance, its just a case of grabbing a spare body down at the yard and thrusting my camara at them and demanding they take some pics.

As for the story, well Py was only on loan for 6 months initially but I could of had him for another 6 months which I was going to do but just before renewing my agreement I was asked if I'd take this little mare, I used to ride her years ago and the owner was stuck for somewhere for her to go, where as Py will remain on the same yard as his owner is going to start riding him again, so its worked out nicely for all everyone really, don't get me wrong I will miss riding Py and it was a tough decision but in a way its helped two people out and both neds will be out having fun this summer, a friend on the yard will be riding Py I think this summer to keep him busy so hopefully we can all go off and compete together....or fall off and make fools of ourselves, think I will be doing the latter! :D
