...has been with me for exactly one year today. :)

I won't lie - the first three months were dreadful, the following three months a series of tiny victories interspersed with crashing disappointments, three months after that seeing the victories outweighing the bad bits for the first time... and, finally, the last three months have been bloody wonderful. :D

By chance we found ourselves walking in the same spot that we did her first 'big' walk a year ago; here she was then:

Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike!

Really heartwarming to read posts by you and by Lady La La, who could have easily thrown in the towel as some so easily do (see all free websites, everywhere) but are prepared to knuckle down and work at things.

Make the best of the dog you have, people :)

Dax is a very lucky girlie :)

Yes. Im not close to giving up at all! Honest!

She's looking great bc, your my inspiration and my proof that hard work *will* pay off... Eventually.

Shes a credit to you

She has really matured hasn't she, looking really good. Well you know that some of us on here thought you were mad when you took her on and were expecting it to all go tits up, so well done you for proving us all wrong. She is such a sweetie too.:)
You'll get there Lady La La, he's just testing you.;)

What a credit to you she is and you are reaping the reward for all that hard work well done.

Its not just the freeads, breeders are my bugbear why do they sell dogs to people who know nothing about the breed and how much work and commitment is needed to train a dog.
