the official "convert Shils to cobs" thread...

Because I have worked out that Cobs are the magical power that defeats angry warmblood riding she-daemons!

So, in order to defeat Shils and stop her evil ways, we MUST keep posting cob pictures to defeat her!

True story!

Ha ha! How true that is. However, I have a terrible confession to make. I also own a warmblood. I dont ride it, Mini TX does, but I own it. Does that count me out?

Thanks :-) He's not very conventional, but has jumped an open team chase course, will happily bronc his way out of every meet and is currently dismantling his stable as we haven't hunted for a month - not a happy Cobby!! Certianly not a very cobby cobby....

Mine can jump (being lazy here, tho) but also likes slouching round the field!

Possibly a random question, but does your Arab x cob move like a cob or an arab? Lovely horse btw!

Arab definately, he has the most amazing floaty paces and transitions but he doesn't look right doing them cos of his size! Bless him.

And thanks :D

tractor - that looks great! Wish there was a photographer when I go hunting :P
I also wish there were nice inviting logs like that too! ;)

hariycob - looks like a flyer - How do you find your reins in all that ;)

I used to have a cracking Piebald Cob - Bruno he was, jumped like a stag! Miss him - if only I could have jacked his legs up - He is the only horse I have ever sold and I havent heard from his new owners since - Hope he is happy :)

I have an Arab x Cob too Omarkiam. Loved the pics of your gorgeous boy. Mine doesn't look as well put together as yours but she does move very flowing and free and covers the ground effortlessly which i LOVE.

And this is her BOGOF baby Coblet :D

I have to admit that full cobs are a little too heavy for my particular needs, but you can't beat a bit of cob blood to add some all terrain vehicle to a horse. Here's the little arab x welsh D that I used to compete for a friend:

He's done a bit of everything - hunting, dressidge, hunter trials, showing, advanced endurance.

I'm hoping my yearling welsh D x will be a similar size and build:

Happy Hunter - he is indeed a flyer. He's my son's ride & he does ocassionally lose the reins in all that hair.
It's a standing joke that at every show there will be a mare that is terrified of him & the rider will aways say it's because she's never seen anything that hairy.
