One month to go and I think she's looking well now her summer coat is coming through. She's struggling a bit (or I am!) with the mental weather though, out in a lightweight rug t'other day and then it turned nasty overnight and she looked like a drowned, frozen rat in the morning. So I put an extra rug on her, cue spell of tropical sunshine and the poor old bat was sweating her tits off! Now she's back in her thin one so it'd better stay fine tonight!
She does look rather like a hairy trekker at the moment though, with her shaggy mane and feathers and slightly over-grown tail (borderline trailing on't floor
) I shall do some sprucing soon 
and a smart one to prove she doesn't always look quite so 'unkempt'
