No news as yet. Left message for my vet to have a look at lungworm. She's still feeling very sorry for herself, but shes no worse. Thanks for asking =]
Be interested to see the results of the x-ray, bearing in mind the bum-slamming you mentioned. Maybe is a joint/muscle issue and she is depressed as she isn't as mobile as she normally is? Or in pain that she can't express? Just surmising.
Were her parents hipscored? I remember you said they'd had health tests.
As you know (I think I have told this story a million times, sorry) my fella injured his back jumping from a great height and he was not happy at all during this period, vet said it could have been made worse by something as simple as twisting in the air for a ball.
Dog at the time was listless, was still out walking but did these great big elaborate nose to tail stretches all the time, which he had never done before.
The only difference to the naked eye was that he was carrying one hind leg carefully, striding out in front and doing a little restricted walk behind, obviously for him, walking normally, he was putting a pull on the back strain so was protecting himself, he never cried, he never showed any other form of pain or discomfort.
Was convinced his hips were shot but x-ray revealed these were fine and the problem in his back was discovered.
