The pure feed company users

I'm interested in using their feed but would have to order it from their site as have no local stockists , even though one of their nutritionist lives near me ......

How much are you paying if you can get it in the shops and is it a better product than dengie.


Im looking at the Pure easy as he is a good doing cob, unsure also of how much I would need to feed him for him to make the most of the vit/mins in there.

Not sure if it's easier to by a plain chaff then add balancer /vit &mins.

i wouldn't recommend as it made my horse fatter and lazy even on the comp mix and racer mix and lo cal equivalent. Much prefer Dodson and Horrell or Spillers

I love Pure Feeds! Tend to use the conditioning mix through the winter on my girls who live out. I've never had a problem with it.

I pay £12.95 for pure condition from my local supplier , though I'm away to move him from it to frickers formula as my horse is losing weight and his coat is getting dull. Seems to not be working for him, he did look better on it but now I'm thinking it was timing with spring grass and that's what was making him look good rather than the pure condition

I use Pure Fibre Balance, one scoop a day its all you need for vits and mins. For ten bags delievered its £17.50 a bag. I find it works out cheaper than Pure Easy if feeding good doers. Some of mine live on fresh air and it hasn't made them porky.

I buy feed for seven horses and find it is far cheaper on the efeed.co.uk website. If you buy 20 items or more, delivery is only £5. Pure feeds has a shelf life of six months.

I think it is fabulous. It seems more expensive at first, but I have had to feed far less volume. Where as before they would get a scoop of alfa a and a scoop of mix, now they just get a scoop of pure feeds. All seven horses are doing really well on it. I feed mainly Pure Easy, but one horse gets a mix of pure working and pure racing, and another is on their stud mix.
