I have now had Tassy 2 years yesterday. When she arrived she was fat, hated all dogs and I was told she should not go off lead, or around other dogs or children. Why we took her on I can't quite say as her restrictions were quite confining! But I have worked my backside off and I now have a dog who can walk out as part of a pack! (did this on new years day with a variety of dogs on the long mynd and nearly cried!) And she has 100% recall, yes even sheep cats and other dogs! I love her to bits and can take her to the yard and is fab with the kids (obviously under supervision at all times) but the point of the post is to give hope to all other owners who have taken on older or rescue dogs with issues- your hard work WILL pay back and it WILL be with the effort.
