Watched the TV programme last night celebrating The Queen's 90th Birthday.
Interesting to see how different the Corgis and Labradors looked 80 to 90 years ago!

I thought that, there was a program on last week too all about the royal animals, that was interesting

I want to know what the cross pups were! Corgi/Lab maybe? Yes very different and much better imo.

Didn't she breed Dachshund with the corgis..

Dorgis...? But that was fairly recently I think?

I got the impression the dogs shown on the programme were purebreds, but of an 'old fashioned' type.

I know one of Princes Margaret's Dachshunds had a liason with one of the Queen's Corgis which lead to Dorgis long before there were designer crossbreeds.
