A few weeks back, I posted that I had to call the RSPCA about a TB horse in a REALLY bad way - body score 0.5, just a pure skeleton tbh. And I promised to keep you updated.
I am a "retired due to injury" former Inspector, and in my time I would NEVER have not contacted the caller. I am a staunch believer in what the RSPCA stands for, altho I know many don't agree, and I am sooooooo disappointed that, even after giving them my (Insp No ) details, they still haven't bothered to contact me.
I am going to try and get thru to complain, but honestly, I now understand why the RSPCA is getting such a poor reputation, and it hurts me to say it. *tears*
sm x
EDIT - I have just spoken to them, and have been told that the Inspectors are told to not contact the caller until four weeks after an investigation has started !!!! Bloody hell, I've never heard anything so ridiculous - just to know they have been is all I needed to know. That they found the horse, and would then contact me in four weeks. The world has gone MAD.
