after only 3 weeks of treating it with thuja it has dropped off!! looked a bit unsightly through the hanging stages! but very pleased to see that this morning it is gone. :)

hi,
i used 200c pillules and cream. 4 pillules a day and applied cream twice a day, so amazed it has worked so quickly.
she only had the 1 and it was a fair sized thing but thuja worked a treat.

mine are falling off too (although cream went on in May) and would really recommend Vetoquinol aluspray to keep the flies off. I leaves a breathable antiseptic aluminium film and the flies cant penetrate it. Amazing stuff

Brilliant and excellent news - please take a look at my post regarding Thuja which I have just placed. I cant speak highly enough of this homeopathic treatment!

I'm with Booboos on this - Gully had two of these pendulous sarcoids fall off themselves so far this year - no cream or other potions needed.

The grew super fast with all of the unwanted attention from the flies (despite lots of fly spray and tar spray) and simply detached themselves and fell out overnight.

i do agree about them dropping off on their own as my mare had one before in exactly the same place that did this, however this one which i initially left alone as vet reccomended was ok to begin with but over few months rapidly grew and looked sore therefore i researched alot of things and decided to give it a go. the dosage was what i was told to give and it is very varied from what people have written in other posts. i have had a great result with this product but as mentioned before every horse is different and who is to say it wont return!! i guess i am lucky my mare only had the one even if it did get HUGE!!! :)

My mare had 3 of her umpteen drop off by themselves. The trouble is, apart from 1 tiny one, they always did it in the field & I could never find them. 1 that fell off had been confirmed by biopsy so no doubt about it being a sarcoid.

My horse has one,not dropped off yet but think it will eventually.Im having the vet friday to check it as hes had it neally a yesr, treated on and off. Is a lot smaller thankgoodness.

Hi, I know this is an old thread by my horses sarcoids have just fallen off without any treatment! He had a lot around his groin area and some by his eye, and within a few weeks they had all gone. He is 7 and has always had them since being a yearling. Strange this is that his behaviour has now completely changed, he is really lathargic and is unrideable at the moment. I'm not sure if the two things are even related but it is too much of a coincidence for timing...
Any advice would be great thanks!!

I have a horse who has a 'warty' type sarcoid on his chest, is this the Thuja cream which can be purchased from Ebay or is vet treatment only?
Thanks

Hate to be a cynic but some sarcoids aren't sarcoids at all which is why they appear to heal suddenly. To quote from Prof Knottenbelt, the only predictable thing about sarcoids is their unpredictability. Watch the area carefully, and the rest of the horse's body where flies normally settle.

Agree! Take photos and send them to Prof Knottenbelt, he is the best person to offer advice and treatment

Thuja cream is homeopathic. Homeopathy is quack medicine and doesn't work. This has been proved many many times. If anyone thinks they had success with Thuija I say it would have fell off anyway with or without. The same applies to toothpaste I reckon.

What I don't understand is this.
If opened a post on here saying I great success treating a sarcoid with sherbet how may people would ask me what type etc?? I know there would be some.

So Lazybee are you suggesting that people that come on here to tell others what has worked for them are just making it up for the hell of it!
I thought a forum was to swap ideas on in a civilised manner not to make sarcastic comments to others who are only sharing what they have experienced!
