I collected Amelia at 10am today and ensured she slotted straight into our routine
Brought her home, let her introduce herself to the others again, then took them all for a walk round Dymock woods - I tried to persuade her to go in the lake after Amy (she has got that vile kennel dog smell!) but although she paddled she wouldnt commit herself
Came home, popped her in a crate and went to work for a couple of hours! I came back to dead silence (the others were in the kitchen with her for company) - I am going to let my other half talk to the neighbours and find out whether she howled all afternoon!!!! She is an absolute sweetheart who has clearly lived in a home before - she travelled really well in the car but insisted on curling up on the front passenger seat
I have already found Amelia is too difficult to call as a name, so I think she will be Millie for short
Some pics from today...
