The snoop results

Heard back from vets today.
He has a bacterial infection.... but nothing untoward. So i am to continue to wash him daily with the Vet Guard, and he will now have 5 days of oral anti biotics.
Hopefully this will knock it on the head.

Im to continue lunging him getting him warm will open his pours which is good for the shampoo.

Not to ride him until all of his spots have gone as we dont want him using them as an excuse to nap. So if he continues to do so after the spots have cleared up we know hes using it as a habit which will then require attention also.

He has the physio out on monday along with winston and bertie and the saddler is booked also, teeth were done last week so NOTHING can be blamed for any bad behaviour after he is mended lol

So fingers x, the spots are retracting daily and hes much happier with me touching him.

It will be a great day getting back on him. Missed not riding him as hes such fun.

He followed me around the field this evening. I then went over to do the water and came back but was a fair distance away, he stood eating grass, i crouched down and i could see him watching me - he couldnt wait any longer and come marching over for a cuddle - such a soppy git lol

I was quite annoyed with vets as i had to ring up myself, just before 5pm too... thankfully katie was a star and it didnt take long for her to contact me with the results.

But still..... all day

Oh it sounds like what my OH's horse has just recovered from. Glad you found out what it is. Such a pain that it comes at this time of year. I hope he makes a speedy recovery!
