Just wondering what experience owners of these saddles (or indeed other treeless saddles) have had. Looked at these saddles at the weekend and really liked the look of the dressage models. One is not gussetted - think it was the Energiser. Does anyone have any information on which is the better option - ie. gussetted or not. Thanks in advance for any info.

I just bought one. For me they are very expenssive, you won't be blown over by the workmanship or the leather and when I saw an older one (4 years old) the panels were compressed. Having said that, my horse loves it, he won't move in anything else (extenssive tests revealed no obvious problem other than muscle pain which we assume was caused by previous saddles), so I had no choice really. For a reasonable fee they will come out with saddles for you to try and you can have a go at both the gulleted and the non-gulleted version, it really depends which one you and your horse like. For £50 per week you can rent one for a while, which I really recommend as they take a bit of getting used to. More info on their site

I looked at these last year. I already had a treeless saddle and wanted to upgrade. Like Booboos I wasn't impressed with the quality and the price seemed extortionate to me.
I went with the Heather Moffat Phoenix instead. Nicely made. Mine doens't have a gullet but has suberpanels instead. I love it, my round witherless mare loves it what more can I say
