Alec Swan
...
I've just received, through the post, the 2016 brochure from the above mentioned company. Despite the fact that the owner of the business (and he owns some of those horses listed) seems to have previously gone out of his way to insult others, I'm overlooking the bitching aspect, and looking at not just the horses, but the service and the apparent warranties which are offered.
I am particularly impressed with the service which is on offer, and it's a customer service from which other stallion owners may learn. Hopefully the NFFR deal which caught out so many, and for so many years, is now a thing of the past. Live Foal Guarantee along with No Foal No Fee (where it's available), must be the way for the mare owners to travel. It sees to me that the 'modern' stallion owners are stepping up and offering the mare owners a deal which offers a degree of protection, and it's long overdue. I strongly suspect that a simple e/mail would have the very same brochure and Ts&Cs arrive with any mare owner.
Well done Ken.
Alec.
ps, and as a footnote; I've never paid over one penny to the subject of this thread, and this shouldn't be viewed as being in any way promotional. Sod's Law and for its own reasons, has always stood in the way of success, but given the right mares, Kannan and the delightful Graf would be my choices. There are now some super horses, and importably, super deals available. It only takes a 'phone call.
