A few years back (about 4 years) me and Mum went volunteering with the RSPCA. When the inspector brought in a terrified little male Border Collie, we couldn't keep our eyes away. He would sit at the back of his kennel shaking if you went in. Me and Mum just sat rolling treats to him. He came round a little but not near us.
One day, without thinking, I touched his collar (wanting to take him for a walk) he weed all over the floor and cowered as low as he could :(

According to the RSPCA, he was bought for a four year old child and not supervised or socialised. The child teased him and he became scared of everything. They never treated his fleas either :(

When we got him home he soon came round in the house. But he would chase cars, bikes, kids, runners (anything that moved)

Now he's a happy loveable little dog. You can get a puppy and train them well which in itself is an achievement. But there is no greater sense of achievement then when you give a rescue a second chance, and fix their "issues"
I own 11 dogs, but he is my super special one.
