How do you clean yours? I sponge the leather clean then apply saddle soap but can't decide how best to get the inside leg suedey bit properly clean, they seem almost greasy. Suggestions very welcome
Well, I have mine over 4 years now, and all I do is brush them with a soft body brush. My daughter, (8), has more brushes than she can keep tabs on, so I robbed one, and keep it for my boots, so theres no horse hair. It brings the suede part up really well. Hope it helps. x
I use saddle soap to clean them but then use my ariat polish to 'condition' them. I don't bother using anything to clean the suede but I *think* they do a suede spray.
I had an old pair for 6 years and just binned them for a new pair. On the old ones, by the end the suede was more like leather - shiny and not 'fluffy' - but really, really soft - it was lovely! Wish I could have that panel on the new pair, which feel a bit stiff still. I never really cleaned it, perhaps a sponge over with warm water before a show.
