The Tack Room - a horror story...

Sooooooooooooo decided whilst it was a fine afternoon, I'd clean the tack room out...

3 hours later, I wish I'd never bothered.

Still, now at least I can get in it without things attacking me from dark recesses as they fall from their precariously placed positions...!

Should have done a before and after picture...



Now OH is yelling, I've moved everything around and he can't find anything of his!

...the cheeky bleeder is now saying I should have cleaned his tack whilst I was at it!

..of all the nerve...

I've got some of that smart water from the local Horsewatch peeps, so he's going to be putting it on all the saddles and things tomorrow.

Hmmm...seems he's not going for the £20 I said I'd charge him to clean his tack....didn't think he would!

I did take a pic of an unidentified bottle of 'purple stuff', it's made by NAF and it has a measuring thing on the cap. Not sure what it is but it's unused, the label has gotten a bit warn....someone might be able to tell me what I bought it for when you see it.

Just need to get the pic off my phone...

Ah.... I did a clear out in the autumn so I have actually got a clear tack room!

Sounds good I cleared and tidied mine about three weeks ago. Needless to say its a tip now

Congrats on the tidy tack room.
I scraped the mud and old hay off the concrete in front of the stables and washed it down. Have to do it once a decade - whether it needs it or not.
