The Taming of Totilas Volume II : About Alf/Ravel/Totilas/Etc

I saw Ravel when Steffen first contested WC classes on him and honestly, you wouldn't think it was the same horse! Okay, so he came to Toronto with Brentina, who was built like the proverbial brick house, but still, he looked like a morsel (and a wired one at that) compared to how he looks now.

it looks like ravel's rider has unlocked his power, what a difference! although he had a potentially very noble carriage to start with.

bravo fuego

Interesting video, thnx for sharing.

Ehum, riders all over the world do "rollkur", so don't just stick the word Dutch infront of it, just because Mrs van Grunsven says it's her invention.

Even though it's used all over the world it is still (maybe unfairly) called the 'dutch system'... (if that's what Mondy meant)

They didn't seem to have much to say about Fuego's performance or way of going compared with their comments on Alf, Scandic and Parzival - is that because they are more familiar with warmbloods than iberians?
Interesting picking up on Parzivals piaffe - I've never noticed how the hind legs do more than the fore legs (mind you I've not spent a great deal of time studying it!).

That was fascinating viewing, Peer - thank you! Please can you put up a link for part 3 when it is available?!!
