The time has come to say goodbye...

Which is what I have been trying to tell you for some time. People ARE bullied on here. Was your friend I.ark?

Believe me, Wagtail, this has been a learning experience for me. I know I've joined in on some of the "another teenager having strop " threads and maintained they're not being treated harshly. This has made me think again.

Most of the posters last night were trying to be helpful, but as someone else says here, depressed people centre on the negatives, of which there were plenty. And when I pointed out that I know the girl, she's not a "spoilt brat" she's genuinely upset, and she herself begged (her word :() them to stop, they didn't.

I think it's all too easy to be blunt or rude, or mock people, online, in the way you'd never do in real life. And you just never know the upset you could be causing.

Well it takes a 'big' person to realise this and look at it from another perspective. I am not trying to be at all patronising here when I say that you have gone way up in my estimation.

If I hadnt come on here when I was at a very low point and vulnerable, I do not know how I would have coped, I have found everyone on here to be amazingly supportive. Op, to be fair, if you are referring to the laminitis pony with owners who didn't bother having their vet on speed dial, the forums reaction may well have been uncomfortable reading for them but perhaps they deserved it, the advice that you got from forum
Users was sound and in the interest of the pony- sugar coating is not what was needed. I did not read the thread last night so can't comment.

Hope you are beginning to feel better QB, I`ve been there myself many years ago,it took weeks not to be tearful, and even now many many years later I miss that mare.
