Went to equifestival yesterday with tiny horse. I've never seen so many amazing quality minis in my life! She was amazing and took second place in a strong class and I couldn't be happier. Judge favoured a heavier type mini through the day but I had so many compliments from everyone about how utterly refined and perfect "horse in miniature" she was. Hopefully next year she matures still refined :) happy end to the show year for me.

Well done. I'm new to this, what's the distinction between a pony and a mini horse?! Is it conformation mainly? Must confess not sure I'd know the difference !

Yes a miniature horse should be just that - look like a horse but be a lot smaller!

She's lovely, Equi - it seems that her rosette was very well-deserved. The slight gulastra plume is just the icing on the cake. What a beauty!

Congratulations, she really is beautiful. Also its so good to see a miniature that really does look like a mini horse, so many of them don't.

She's the first foal I ever bred and I have to say she will be hard to replicate!

She is lovely I would have thought she was exactly what a mini horse looked like the heavy ones tend to look like poor shetlands. Well done bet you are proud of her

Oh these ones definitely didn't - as I said the quality was amazing! My filly was just a bit too immature looking I think. The winning filly was a bit showier and stunning and I'll admit that. Although mine showed better I think lol she was also black and the judge favoured the darker horses through the day.
