As you know my two puppies are only young and have only just started to be trusted off the lead and are doing brilliantly.
Well today they were off the lead for the majourity of a long walk and they made me smile so much
... They sprinted off at one point out of site, and I paniced thinking they were just going to bog off and that I'd have lost them both! My heart was literally in my mouth at that point!
But I remained calm, stood still myself and gave a loud bellowing shout of "Come on GIRLLLLLSSSS!" and both came sprinting back and slammed right into my knees. I had such a grin.
Even on this walk had a moment to gloat to myself when two large dogs came thundering up to mine and they stayed when I told them to. The other dogs owners were shouting and screaming for theres to come back and they totally ignored them. If your gonna have your dog off the lead at least don't let them run fun belt at mine.
But ah well aye?
But they both came straight back to me when asked even when there was other dogs/people around. Finally I feel like I am getting to the point where these two see me as leader and we are really bonding.
Pointless post maybe, but my OH doesn't understand why this walk on my own has made me so happy and I know you lot can empathise with me
