Good(ish) news

She's still lame , Last Wednesday she was 2/10ths lame , today she was 1/20th lame so Alan was really pleased .

First of all he wanted her to have another 3weeks field rest , then he decieded walking her out under saddle will be more productive as it will keep her mind busy so she won't be such a loon in the field .
Also he thinks there is no point X-raying her back ( his words , ''if it aint broke , don't try fixing it '' )

So good news but she's still no right

On the bright-side he said she's a lovely example of a sports horse

Hmmm... I always think these slight "not right" lamenesses are more frustrating than when the horse is hobbling but with a nice big cut or something so everyone knows what's going on. Oh well, I hope you're lucky and it does clear up on its own, but if it flares up again insist on getting some answers.

Yes , yes I totally agree , I just want there to be something (minor) wrong thats causing it all ... but Alan said there is no point wasting money on xrays etc as he thinks it may be slight concussion from when she buggered off at the beach

Well that all sounds promising - and Alan would be the first to be spending your money on additional things if he felt it was warranted.

Keep us posted.

Sam's looked for an abscess and found nothing too !
Dave's done everything he can to control her TB'ness to help the lameness ...
Alan has just been great about it all ...

Think I need them all on speed dial though !
