Vet came and took George's bandage off today and the stitches out and his words were 'you've been a lucky boy big man' as I didn't see the wound when he did it I didn't realise how awkward a spot it was in. Anyway, it seems to have healed pretty well and he wasn't lame in walk or trot
if it remains that way he is to be walked in-hand for 2 days (boy did he love the grass
) and then he can be turned out on Sat and back to work. So hopefully all will be well.
