EXACTLY the problem I have using the HayBar I've installed. No matter how much I fluff the hay up to prevent her pulling great chunks out, mine still manages to drag most of the hay out onto the floor in front of her and stand on it. Once stood on, it is rejected. I've experimented by giving her a miserly amount of hay in the hope that she will get over her fussiness and eat what she's been given, but no she'd rather starve herself than eat that which has touched her shavings. Grrrrr
Have now gone back to using a haynet and hang it in the corner, over the HayBar. Suppose the only good thing about it is I can hang the net low because the HayBar reduces the risk of her getting tangled in the net. Still, thought the HayBar a BIG waste of money in my instance.
