The weather.. hope you're all safe tonight

Just driven home from the horses, only a short drive but the whole of the journey was taken up by the radio 2 weather and travel report!! It was snowing here in MK earlier but hasnt settled, yet! Looks like its all around us though as well as loads of other places. I hope everyone is safe tonight, humans and the neds, it is getting a bit much now isnt it? Really thought we had turned a corner last week with a few spring like days, that'll teach me to start looking out lighter rugs

It really is a pain, isn't it? We've had a couple of cm here over the last few hours. My grandad has just phoned to make sure I got home from work okay on the moped, and told me to call him if I had any problems... he lives a three hour drive away and is disabled with severe emphysema (sp?), so there's nothing he could do to help... but the thought is nice.

Ha, well Aberdeen has had heavy snow all morning and apparently its all frozen so the roads have turned to sheet ice. I've had two clients come in saying its chaos and its taken them an hour to drive what should take 5 minutes! I'm horrified as that's the road I have to go on to get home. Luckily work is being super nice and have told me to go home in an hour to avoid rush hour which will be hell on earth I imagine!

I stupidly negotiated the trans-pennine route last night and nearly got stuck behind a bus who couldn't make it up the hill! Slid down the other side and by the time we got to the bottom it was simply raining.

It was sunny and lovely in Hampshire this morning, just had a bit of hail come down hard but now its back to blue skys again

......and now I have to go to work
