Hi, its blowing a gale up here. has anyone else rugged their horses up? Im planning on riding later and worried about coming back and turning him out as he will be sweaty- dont want him to catch a chill! Any advice?

Mine have been IN since last night due to high winds, thunderstorms and heavy rain....... rain has finally now stopped so going to have a look at field to see how wet it is then hopefully (fingers crossed) turn them out - but they will have rugs on. Where are you?

County Durham area- it rained all day yesterday and its reallly windy today so riding out is going to be interesting! Will stick his cooler rug on him when we get back in the stable for a bit I think so he doesnt catch a chill!

Think he should be fine then

Very windy though, mind you we tried a horse in the strong gusts so at least if it was going to mess about, it would have!!!!!! Im glad we dont have the rain, I feel for you all.
