lush, I looked to get a suffolk before i ended up with my mare, but the one I saw had been used as a brood mare loads and she had a dipped belly and no manners, so i knew I would hold her, but they are lush, let us know how you get on xx
Oh, congratulations! I am so pleased you have found a horse that not only suits you down to the ground but she has found a wonderful permanant new home to live out the rest of her days.
Wishing you the very best for your futures together.
I dont know if i will show her. Maybe a few local veteran classes or something. I dont know much about it. Also i dont want too stress her out too much.
She will have a lovely quiet retirement with us.
Her owners were worried she would end up bieng sold from pillar to post in the sales. I hope they are not anymore

I believe she was from down here a long time ago. I remember we talked about him and i am fairly sure she wasnt one of his. Who ever owned her sold up almost ten years ago
Someone i know of shows suffolks when you have her pedigree i could forward it on to her and see if she knows of anything. Im sure her dad breeds them.
She has such a sweet face. Hope you have fun with her
what a lovely end to Clippy's post! Hope you are very happy with your new Suffolk P - she is gooooooorgeus (I am biased because I come from Suffolk - but I do think they are something special!)
You know what, your OH doesn't want an arab - she wants Solly, they would look great together, although Solly is a little larger!!
Well done, can't wait for you to collect her so I can meet her.

Please do a new post and put it in the Breeder's Forum too - posts get lost so quickly in the new lounge. Then we can keep her progress topical.
I have Cleveland Bays which with Suffolks are on the RBST 'critical' list.

Oh ok i will do... ive never ventured in there much
That's FAB I saw the earlier posting and I thought the advert smacked of honest and genuine people. However, I was a wee bit worried about her age and stage and what might become of her. But this is a fantastic outcome for her and sounds totally perfect for you too. I'm so happy for you both!
